As a responsibility to the society, Sankalp is insitabed which is a registered body under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It is an initiative started by the staff of Sathguru Management Consultants, where a group of like-minded colleagues from all the divisions joined together to support some specific philanthropic goals. Education of underprivileged girl children, healthcare for the elderly, skill building and community-centric activities sum up this organization’s goal to reach out and make a difference to the society. Sankalp’s projects are categorized under Siksha, Jiva and Vivrithi.

Sathguru Cares

The Cornell-Sathguru Foundation for Development, a not-for-profit entity was established to carry out initiatives that have strong developmental goals that would not be sustainable without resource support from external sources. Currently, the Cornell-Sathguru Foundation supports several path breaking education initiatives such as the International Agriculture and Rural Development (IARD) 402/602 course, the MPS dual degree program, the global capacity building initiatives of the United States Department of Agriculture and many more.

We are committed to enabling sustainable social development through education, life sciences, and technology. We leverage expertise from various disciplines and institutions such as Cornell University, State Agricultural University, and civil society organizations to drive education, agricultural and rural development projects. Sathguru organizes social initiatives under Foundations, namely the Cornell Sathguru Foundation for Development (CSFD) and Sankalp.

Cornell Sathguru Foundation for Development (CSFD)

CSFD is NGO promoted by Cornell University, USA and Sathguru, India to facilitate sustainable social development for enhancing capacities, knowledge creation, promoting entrepreneurship and gender equality. CSFD, in collaboration with Cornell University and state agriculture universities, brings in expertise from diverse fields to advance technology, innovation and agribusiness in India. CSFD has hands-on knowledge in designing initiatives on empowering small and marginal farmers and human resource development in the agriculture sector.
