Associate Vice President
Divyya is Associate Vice President in the healthcare advisory group at Sathguru Management Consultants. She has over 16 years of experience and leads techno commercial advisory engagements leveraging her background in science, IP and business advisory. She has immense expertise in landscaping for competitive market analysis, identification of opportunities for strategizing growth, investments and innovation advancement in healthcare industry including vaccines, pharma, medical devices and diagnostics. She has advised several private ventures and public organizations in landscaping the markets for providing strategic market entry and growth advise. She managed the Technology Transfer Expert Group (TTEG) project where SMC was retained by DBT-BIRAC to manage technology transfer and entire capacity augmentation in India for COVID-19 vaccines. She is also involved in multiple International Development engagements at SMC with the global development partners such as The World Bank group, IFC, GIZ, Unitaid, GARDP etc. for assisting in capacity creation for enhancing the pharma and vaccine manufacturing ecosystem on the African continent. Divyya is involved in multiple One Health initiatives across South Asia and also in many capacity building initiatives for enhancing best practices in technology transfer for enhancing translational research outcomes in the country and entrepreneurship development.
Prior to joining SMC, she was the business development manager at the Federation of Asian Biotech Association (FABA) supporting its flagship event, BioAsia conference to enhance trade and innovations in the State of Andhra Pradesh, (now Telangana); Consultant at Novogress IP Services conducting patent filings; and Team Lead at Dolcera Infomaxx, an IP services firm in India conducting IP analysis for small to large companies including fortune 500 companies.
Divyya has a PhD in Molecular Biology and a PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights. She is a member of the Society of Technology Manager (STEM), registered patent agent in India and a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP).
