August 28th was not just another day at Sathguru Management Consultants— as we kicked off our 40th-year celebrations with a fashion fiesta like no other! The office was buzzing with excitement as employees prepared to embrace the quirkiest, wackiest, and most wonderfully mismatched outfits for our much-anticipated Mismatch Day event.
The ramp was set, the stage was ready, and the vibe was electric as the day kicked off with none other than Sathguru’s Founder-Director, Hemalatha, igniting the excitement. Hemalatha strutted down the ramp, setting the tone for what was about to be an unforgettable event. Her bold outfit choice had everyone excited and ready to follow suit!
The Judges’ Panel featured K Vijayraghavan, our dynamic CEO. Joining him was Ms. Sridevi Nirup, who added her unique flair to the judging panel. Ms. Nirup is the founder of Silayi, a platform dedicated to empowering women through skill development and entrepreneurship. Her visionary leadership has transformed Silayi into a catalyst for social impact and empowerment.
As the employees unleashed their creativity, the ramp became a runway of delightful chaos. From clashing patterns to varied accessories, the energy was contagious With over 40 participants from all five divisions of Sathguru—Consulting Division, CSEE, Catalysers, KVA, and Sathguru Software Products—the array of outfits ranged from whimsical mismatches to bold statements. The participants adorned playful combinations like tunics paired with dhotis, coats over frock, and accessories ranging from utensils and spoons to funny hats, mismatched shoes, and even umbrellas. The result was a spectacular display of imagination and fun!
And what’s a celebration without a bit of indulgence? Evening snacks were served, adding a touch of deliciousness to the already vibrant atmosphere.
When the dust settled and the fashion frenzy came to a close, the scores were in, and the winners were announced. In a surprising twist, all the awards for winners and runners-up ended in ties—proving that the competition was as fierce as it was fashionable! The Ms. Mismatch of the Year title was bagged by Anagha and Madhurima, from our Corporate Communication team. Their ensemble was nothing short of a showstopper!
Kalyani and Pooja from the Management Consulting division were crowned the runner-ups, showing off their impressive, mismatched style with flair.
Sowrab from K Vijayaraghavan and Associates, and Lakshman from Accounts division both stole the spotlight with their extraordinary outfits, earning them the coveted title of Mr. Mismatch of the Year.
And let’s not forget the Mr. Runner-Up Mismatch of the Year award, where Avik from the Management Consulting division and Vinodh from the Sathguru Software Products took home the honors for their fantastic fashion feats.
