A person living a sedentary lifestyle is often sitting at desk or lying down while engaged in an activity like reading, socializing, watching television, playing video games, or using a mobile phone/computer for most of the day. This can lead to various health issues like obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular risks, etc.

Choosing the right diet keeps us not only healthy but also stable and fit. Key to a healthy body starts with a proper diet which improves the overall mood and enhances memory.

We must start building a smarter plate by choosing fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean protein and low-fat dairy, foods that are packed with the nutrients we need, without all the added sugars and solid fats.
